Congratulations are in order for a Saline County girl with a new crown. Amelia Lisowe, age 12, of Benton, won the title of Royal International Preteen at the Royal International Miss pageant in Orlando, Florida July 10-15.
Lisowe competed with 37 others ages 11-13 from all over the world. Her categories were private interview, personal introduction, fun fashion, and evening gown. Lisowe won a prize package and several cash scholarships. As part of her prize package, Amelia will be walking in New York Fashion Week in September 2023.

Amelia is excited to represent her Shine Bright Project as part of her platform all year. The Shine Bright project helps deliver night lights to foster children through her nonprofit, Lisowe’s Lights. To date, Lisowe’s Lights has delivered almost 20,000 night lights to foster children in 9 countries around the world.
Amelia is a rising 7th grade gifted and talented student at Bryant Middle School and a member of the school dance and volleyball teams. She is also a member of the Dance Dynamics Company and an iCan Dance buddy for special needs dancers.
