A longtime Benton business is up for sale and will close their doors after they sell out of inventory. Lisa’s Bait Shop has been at 2112 Watts Road in Benton since 1985. Lisa Spencer’s parents started the shop and named it after her.

“It’s been great for us for over 35 years and business is better every year,” said Lisa. “But we’ve decided it’s time to do other things.”
The store already has some special sales, and plans to close the doors for good sometime around November.
“We want to thank you all for your years of support. It’s been a pleasure to serve generations of people from all over Central Arkansas,” said Lisa. “So many memories have been made in the store. It’s time for us to make memories in other places.”
Lisa has been running store since she was 19 years old.
