The Saline County Library has both branches involved in helping you wrap your presents for the holiday.
At the Bryant branch, there’s a class on Monday, December 17th at 3:30 p.m. for those folks who need to hammer out the basics of how to wrap a gift. Here’s one tip: don’t use a hammer. It’s a free class and you can just bring yourself and wrap empty boxes, or bring some gifts for an even more productive session. This class is free and recommended for participants aged 18 or over.
At the Benton branch, there’s a station set up for anyone to come wrap presents for free. They have all the supplies – wrapping paper, bows, tape, scissors, and some gift boxes. This is a self-serve station, so come prepared to wrap it yourself. The hours for this service are:
- Mon, Tue, Thu… 9am-8pm
- Wed, Fri… 9am-5:30pm
- Sat… 9am-4pm
The station is set up near the computer lab. Library staff made a fun “Wrap Video” to get you in the mood:
