The Saline County Library will host “Faithful to Our Tasks,” a discussion on Arkansas women during the Great War. This event will be on Saturday, September 9th, from 1:30-3:00 p.m. at the Benton location at 1800 Smithers Drive.
Elizabeth Griffin Hill, author of Faithful To Our Tasks: Arkansas’s Women and the Great War, will be giving a presentation on her new book, as well as inviting attendees to share their own family stories.
Whether you have family photos, stories, or even recipe books from Grandma, time will be provided for attendees to share their WWI family histories. A book signing will follow the presentation. This presentation is intended for ages 18 and older.
