The Saline County Library is hosting a number of Halloween events during the month of October. The Benton branch of the library is located at 1800 Smithers Drive, Benton, AR 72015. The Bryant branch is located at 201 Prickett Road, Bryant, AR 72022.
On Tuesday, October 17, the library will host SCL Trivia: Halloween from 7:30 PM to 8:00 PM. This event will take place at U.S. Pizza Co., located at 3600 AR-5, Bryant, AR 72022. The host will ask 40 Halloween-themed trivia questions, and the person or team who answers the most correctly will go home with a prize. This event is for adults, ages 18 and up.
On Friday, October 27, the Benton branch is hosting Spooky Storytime from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM. Children are encouraged to wear their costumes to this storytime, which will be followed by an activity. This program will take place in the Storytime Room and is geared towards ages 2-5.

On Saturday, October 28, the Bryant branch is hosting its annual Trunk or Treat from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Young patrons are encouraged to wear their costumes and bring a bag to collect candy as they trick or treat around the decorated trunks. This event will feature a storytime, games, and candy.
On Saturday, October 28, the Benton branch will host A Spooktacular Watch Party. There will be crafts, snacks, and games at 6:30 PM. Then at 7:00 PM, the film will begin. In this year’s film, “a single mom named Gabbie hires a tour guide, a psychic, a priest, and a historian to help exorcise her newly bought mansion after discovering it is inhabited by ghosts.” This event is open to all ages.
On Monday, October 30, the Benton branch will host Spooky Craft Night from 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM. During this session, patrons will make Halloween-themed crafts and eat “spooky” snacks. All materials provided, while supplies last. This event is for adults, ages 18 and up. Registration is required for this event.
