DIY Solar Eclipse T-Shirt Drop-In Event

Get ready for the 2024 total solar eclipse by making your very own glow-in-the-dark eclipse T-shirt! We’ll supply the instructions, inspiration/reference pictures, fabric paint, brushes, and space to work, YOU SUPPLY THE T-SHIRT! This is a self-paced, drop-in activity for all ages in the Makerspace. No registration required; children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult at all times in the Makerspace.

Tai Chi for Beginners

Jo Tabor, a Certified Personal Trainer and fitness coach, will teach participants the basics of Tai Chi. This is a program geared towards beginning practitioners, but all skill levels are welcome! Please dress comfortably for movement.

Irish Heritage Celebration

March is Irish Heritage Month! Mary Fansler, of the Irish Cultural Society of Arkansas and the O’Donovan School of Irish Dance, will treat us to Irish stories, poetry, and dance! Come in and learn about influential figures from the Emerald Isle! You’ll also have the chance to listen to stories and poetry by Irish authors! Then we’ll be treated to dance performances by students from the O’Donovan School of Irish Dance! These students regularly compete in national competitions! Registration required.
