Makerspace Open Hours

During open hours, Makerspace functions as an open workspace stocked with numerous tools and materials for free creative time. In other words, people can come in with only their imagination, create to their heart’s content, and leave with a completed project.
Toddler Time

Mable Boswell Memorial- Bryant Children
This storytime has fun group activities for the young! Toddlers and the adults who love them will make new friends as they play and learn. We play with a parachute, sing songs, learn finger plays, play games, dance, make music and share picture books. After our informal circle time we get out the toys and play together. For ages 1 – 3 years.
Sensory Storytime
10:30 AM – 11:30 AM

This program is specifically designed for children with autism, sensory processing disorder or difficulty sitting still, but anyone is welcome. Please click on the event for more information.

Homeschool Hour

This semester for homeschool hour our theme will be around the world! Join us as we learn about countries from all around the globe with art, music, STEAM activities, problem solving, team building, and more. This will be a fun, supplemental event for ages 4 – 18. The age groups will be divided up as follows: 4 – 5, 6 – 8, 9 – 12, and 13 – 18.
Adult D&D Night Campaign B

D&D has been a fixture of America’s love for RPG games for over 20 years. Now is your chance to get in on the action. The Saline County Library is hosting a monthly D&D night. On the third Wednesday of every month, you and your friends can come to the Saline County Library Benton Branch and play a game with us. Registration is required for this event.

This is the continuation of our spring D&D campaign that started in January. A campaign is a long form story that you get to shape and tell however you and your other adventurers decide. We will be telling this story every week over the spring semester, so the more you are able to attend, the more of this new world you will get to explore!
