The public is invited to a free event at the Saline County Regional Airport to learn more about aviation. There will be speakers on an array of topics from pilot safety to different programs in which pilots can participate. along with food and drink. This will be of interest to pilots and aviation enthusiasts. Chuck Collins of C3 and Chuck Collins Construction will host this event in Executive Hangar C4 on Saturday, February 8th at 5 p.m. FAA Wings credits will be applied to anyone working towards their hours to become a pilot.
“This is a great opportunity to bring the local aviation community together and will be a fun way to educate and inform pilots and aspiring pilots alike,” stated Dane Pruitt, Airport Manager.
Guest speakers will include Philip Thomas, creator and president of Pilots for Patients program and co-creator of Angel Flights in Louisiana, and Seth Lake, pilot examiner and safety professional, who is also a FAA flight instructor and DPE.
The airport is at 1100 Hill Farm Road, Bryant AR 72022. You will also be able to view the new executive hangars.
