A woman wrecked her truck right into the the Sheriff’s Office, according to a statement on their social media.

The Saline County Sheriff’s Office published photos and an explanation on their Facebook page. The statement says that around 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, a red pickup truck crashed into the building, right next to the doors. No one in the building was injured, since the office was not yet open for the day.
Laura Gray was arrested and faces several charges, as follows:
Possession of a Controlled Substance – Schedule I or II;
Drug Paraphernalia – Misdemeanor;
DWI with Drugs;
Criminal Mischief in the First Degree ($500 or more) – Felony;
Fictitious Tags;
Reckless Driving;
Driving on a Suspended License; and
Impairing the Operations of a Vital Facility.
After the truck was removed, damage was visible to the outer wall.
Damage is substantial inside the Sheriff’s Office as well.
