Plenty of police officers, firefighters, military and EMS came out Friday for the annual Public Servant Lunch at the Landers Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. Landers has been doing this luncheon every year since disaster struck the United States on September 11th, 2001.
Landers does it to honor those people who work so hard to protect us all. Lunch was catered by Riverside Grocery of Benton, which meant such good catfish, shrimp, chicken and all the extras. I was there to say hello and meet the people I didn’t already know and get pictures of some of the ones who will never get enough thanks for the jobs they do.
