The Benton Police Department (BNPD) announced Tuesday morning that they have followed up multiple leads about Mr. Alexander but he is still on the loose. In a statement, BNPD believe the escapee was able to change clothes and obtain a ride to at least the Bass Pro area. The investigation and search remains ongoing. Watch MySaline for updates. ORIGINAL – MON FEB 26, 2024 – 10PM
A man has escaped from Rivendell Behavioral Health Services of Arkansas on Monday evening, according to Benton Police Department. At this time, he is still at large.
Joseph Alexander, age 28, has felony warrants from Benton County (northwest Arkansas) and was on hold for psychological evaluation. He is believed to have escaped around 8:15 p.m. and was wearing green paper scrubs. He is likely barefoot.
Alexander has felony charges out that include Battery and Aggravated Assault. He is considered dangerous, so BNPD advises, DO NOT APPROACH the escapee.
His last sighting was near Springhill Road and Highway 5 N. We advise residents to call 911 if you see him or if you see/hear anything suspicious on your property.
