The Jory Malone Foundation announced not one but three scholarship recipients for 2021.
The organization received donations from students and members of Revolution Mixed Martial Arts for their contributions making it possible to add two more scholarships than were planned.
“It leaves little doubt as to the impact Jory had as a coach on those around him,” the organization said in a statement.
Scholarship applicants were considered based on several factors including choice of essay, letters of recommendation, grades (cumulative GPA/ ACT/ SAT score), personal achievements outside of schooling, and their commitment to leadership and education.
The three recipients, named below, will each receive a $1000 scholarship towards their education.
Alyssa Hernandez is a senior at Bryant High School. Along with keeping a 4.0 GPA she excels in sports (Volleyball). She will be attending East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma in the fall. Alyssa gave back to her community through her mentorship with youth sports.

It is our honor to help her with her education in this time.
