The City of Bryant announces Jordan Reynolds as the Communications Coordinator/Mayor’s Assistant. She joins the City of Bryant after four years as the Marketing Coordinator at the Saline County Library. There, she managed all social media channels, handled media relations, coordinated with other departments regarding events, and assisted with graphic design. She and her team were awarded two prestigious public library awards for their work, the John Cotton Dana Award and the PR Xchange Award, both from the American Library Association.
“We are thrilled to bring Jordan to the City of Bryant team,” said Mayor Allen Scott. “Her experience, along with her passion for community and the city, will make her a great addition.”
Reynolds brings five years of marketing and public relations experience to the City of Bryant. Before her time at the library, she spent her senior year of college as the Marketing Intern for Conway Regional Health System, where she assisted with social media, event planning, and media relations. She holds a bachelor’s in Public Relations from the University of Central Arkansas and will graduate with her master’s in marketing from Southern New Hampshire University in January.
Reynolds is replacing former Assistant to the Mayor, Dana Poindexter, who held the position for nearly ten years. She will be responsible for managing internal and external communications for the city and the mayor, planning events, and assisting the mayor in scheduling and messaging, among other duties.
