We’ve been wondering for about a year what would be the next business to occupy the space where Hasting’s Entertainment had been. MySaline talked to Joe Johnston today, the owner of Johnston’s Home Center and he confirmed rumors that they will be expanding their store which is right next door.
Johnston said they are currently putting up walls and painting. He hopes to open the doors in the next 30 days.
Johnston’s is a family-owned store that started out in Benton in 1979. They sell appliances, electronics, bedding, and sewing machines. They are currently located at 1423 Military Rd. Benton, AR 72015
