I know many of you have seen the sign up at the soon-to-be-open Jersey Mike’s. I told you I’d update when I knew more. Well the sub shop has been hiring during the month of August and now we know that the target date for the grand opening is Wednesday, September 23rd. They are still hiring, so check the link below, from our previous update. And scroll farther down to get the other details of this new restaurant.

It looks like Benton, Arkansas is on the radar for a new restaurant to come to town. Sub sandwich chain Jersey Mike’s plans to open at Hurricane Creek Village – a.k.a. the shopping center with Academy and Kroger Marketplace. The restaurant has it listed on their website that a location is coming soon to 20770 Interstate 30, Suite 130.
The business began as a single shop in Point Pleasant, New Jersey in 1956. In 1971, an employee who was still in high school bought the business with a loan. Peter Cancro is still with the company today as CEO. There are currently around 2,000 locations globally and two locations in Arkansas – in Bentonville and Rogers. No word yet on when they will open, but check MySaline.com for updates.
