Junior Auxiliary’s (JA) 4th annual children’s benefit this year is the Queen of Hearts Ball, to be held Saturday, January 28th, from 7-11 p.m. at the Benton Event Center. It’s a gala style event (semi-formal dress) that will feature food from Gina’s Catering, the live band Just Sayin – from Saline County, casino gaming tables, and a live and silent auction. Tickets are $50 per person.
This is one of three fundraisers that JA does each year. Proceeds from this benefit will go directly towards funding JA’s service projects in the next year. All JA of Saline County projects benefit the children of Saline County, so every penny earned stays local.
JA is a group made up entirely of volunteers. They receive no state or federal funding, so service projects come only from fundraising efforts. There are several opportunities for the community to support this event. There are sponsorships – anyone interested in sponsoring can e-mail [email protected] for a info. There are also corporate tables of ten, starting at $600 a table. At the event, there will be a live and silent auction, and JA is looking for items to include. If you are interested in donating you can e-mail [email protected].
The Junior Auxiliary is a 501c3 organization and any donations and/or sponsorships are tax deductible.
