A storm from Thursday night March 14th created an apparent tornado in Hot Springs Village, Arkansas, along with baseball sized hail.
On Friday morning at 8:30 a.m., the HSV Property Owners’ Association issued a statement urging residents and others to be patient for damage information. They also noted a place to get help. Read the statement below:
While we understand that people want to know more about what happened in the Village last night during the severe weather, and the extent of damages, please be patient while POA staff and our first responders continue to assess the situation. Further details will be available during the course of today.
Balboa Baptist Church has opened its doors as an emergency shelter for anyone without power or needing a place to stay.
The Fitness Center is closed until further notice today.
