The Bryant Police Department (BPD) arrested a Bryant daycare worker on charges of child abuse. According to a statement, McKenzie Howell, age 19, was arrested Monday about 8:00 a.m. after an investigation uncovered enough video evidence for two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Minor 1st Degree (Class D Felony).
BPD recently received a report from Kids Academy Daycare on Evans Loop regarding possible child abuse. After investigators spoke with witnesses and reviewed the Daycare security cameras, BPD obtained a warrant for Howell’s arrest. Howell turned herself in Monday morning at the BPD, where she was taken into custody and transported to the Saline County Detention Facility.
