Grand opening “pawty” will benefit Humane Society of Saline County.
Hounds Lounge Pet Resort & Spa will open its fifth location on Saturday, December 10th in Bryant, with a grand opening celebration benefiting local nonprofit Humane Society of Saline County. The locally-owned and -operated company is currently taking boarding reservations and will open its doors just in time for holiday travel.
The newly renovated 10,000-square-foot Hounds Lounge will be located at 519 W. Commerce Street at exit 123 on I-30. It will include ample indoor and outdoor play space, off-leash doggie daycare, overnight boarding, a full range of grooming services and do-it-yourself dog wash stations. Rates range from $15 for six hours of doggie daycare to $45 per night for overnight boarding with 24-hour staffing to ensure pet safety and security.

The event, scheduled for December 10 from noon to 6 p.m., will include activities and refreshments for the whole family – pets included – plus opportunities to win daycare packages and boarding stay prizes. While there is no cost for attendance, community members are encouraged to donate items needed by the Humane Society of Saline County upon arrival.
Hounds Lounge hired Key Architecture and Grundfest Construction for a $1M overhaul of an existing building to offer the highest-quality pet resort services. With four locations across Little Rock, North Little Rock and Fayetteville, this is the fifth location in the Hounds Lounge Pet Resort & Spa franchise Key and Grundfest has helped develop.
The new facility will be staffed round-the-clock with dog-loving supervisors. Available full- and part-time positions include receptionists, play yard attendants and dog groomers.
