If you’re interested in bicycles or skateboards or ready to learn, Saturday in the park is a big day for all ages. The team from Holy Roller will host two events on October 9th at Tyndall Park in Benton (map). Registration is required for both events – see the info and links below.
Mountain Bike Clinic
The first event is to learn to be a better rider on a mountain bike. This clinic for all ages is all morning, 8:00 to noon on Saturday. Bring your bike to learn by practicing bike handling techniques.
The cost is $50. Lunch is provided. The instructor is experienced local rider Mike Irmen. Registration is required at this link.
Xtreme Park Day
Next up, beginning at 10:00 a.m. is Xtreme Park Day. This is a free event at Tyndall’s skate park area. There will be food, raffles and prizes until noon. Attendees of all ages will see special demos and can even participate in the first Xtreme Park Competition.
Bring your own bike or skateboard or use one from Holy Roller. You’ll also be able to give your ideas for future renovations to the skate park. This event is free to watch or participate. Registration is required at this link.
