There are currently 18,740 cases (up 678)
• 9 of 678 in correctional facilities
• 5,707 active cases (108 nursing homes, 621 correctional facilities, 4,978 community)
• Of the 678 new cases: 122 in Washington County, 68 Benton Co, 84 Pulaski Co, 33 Sebastian, 31 Faulkner Co, 26 Crittenden Co, 22 Pope
284 hospitalized (no change)
249 deaths (up 7)
63 on ventilators (down 3)
12,784 recovered (up 657)
6,897 tests yesterday

Governor Hutchinson and Secretary Smith made the following announcements today:

1. The Alcoholic Beverage Control officers will supplement and assist the Department of Health with any restaurants and bars not complying with the current health directives.

• NW – 43.3%
• NE – 9.9%
• Central – 37%
• SW – 8.1%
• SE – 1.8%

3. Current ICU Hospitalizations for COVID-19 Positive Cases in Arkansas By Public Health Region
• NW – 44.6%
• NE – 13.8%
• Central – 33.1%
• SW – 6.9%
• SE – 1.5%

4. Number of ICU Beds Available for COVID-19 Positive Cases in Arkansas By Public Health Region
• NW – 42 ICU beds
• NE – 32
• Central – 60
• SW – 18
• SE – 18

5. Active Case Update – In the 14 days prior to diagnosis, active COVID-19 cases visited the following types of businesses:
• Restaurants – 2%
• Barbershops – 0.6%
• Church – 2%
• Daycare – 0.3%
• Gym – 0.3%
• Health and Wellness (doctor’s office, dentist, etc) – 2%
• Hotel or motel – 0.4%

6. COVID-19 cases employed by poultry businesses
