Governor Asa Hutchinson announced Tuesday afternoon, March 16th that Phase 1-C of the vaccination schedule is open effective immediately. That includes all of the people in the following chart:
The governor stressed that it does not mean those people can immediately get vaccinated, but they can immediately call to get an appointment. There is a helpline that eligible Arkansas residents may call to get help finding an appointment. The toll-free number is 1-800-985-6030.
The governor also stated that the Arkansas Banking Association his partnering with Arkansas Pharmacy Association to allow vaccination events in different banking parking lots around the state.
