The Saline County Republican Committee announces that filing dates for county offices. Candidates may file for the 2020 election beginning at noon on Monday, November 4, 2019, and ending at noon on Tuesday, November 12, 2019.
The filing location is at the Saline County Republican Headquarters located at 125 N. Market Street in Benton. The Headquarters will be open on Monday, November 4, 2019, from 11:45 a.m. until 4:15 p.m., on Tuesday, November 5, through Friday, November 8 from 7:45 a.m. until 4:15 p.m. and on Tuesday, November 12, from 7:45 a.m. until 11:45 a.m.
The Arkansas Republican preferential primary is Tuesday, March 3, 2020. The general election is November 3, 2020.
A member of the Saline County Republican Committee will be present to accept filing fees and provide appropriate forms on those days and times. After filing with the County Republican Party, candidates must provide written evidence of the filing fee payment along with additional paperwork to the Saline County Clerk before noon on Tuesday, November 12, 2019.
The Saline County Republican Committee filing fees are as follows:
- Justice of the Peace… $400
- Constable… $125
- County Committee Member… $60 (does not need to file with county clerk)
