Ken Yang, Arkansas Family Council Director of Governmental Affairs, will speak to the Saline County Republican Committee at their September meeting.
Yang is a native of Benton, Arkansas, where his family owned and operated Sin-Sin Chinese Restaurant for over 34 years. He is a graduate of Benton High School and Hendrix College. Upon graduation, he served as State Representative Mark Martin’s campaign manager for Secretary of State. Martin became the first Republican Secretary of State elected in Arkansas since Reconstruction in 2010.
Yang has also worked on Speaker Newt Gingrich and Governor Mitt Romney’s presidential campaigns and in 2014 Ken was a candidate for Arkansas State Auditor. He has been a featured speaker at the National Republican Women’s Convention and has appeared on Fox News, CNN, and Good Morning America.
He also is the founder and owner of the political consulting firm American Dream Strategies, LLC. At the meeting, Yang will share Family Council’s insights of the 2019 legislative session, current issues they are dealing with in Arkansas, and his personal insights of the 2020 elections. Family Council is a Christian conservative organization with a mission of promoting, protecting, and strengthening traditional family values.
The meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 5th, at the Republican Headquarters at 125 N. Market Street in Benton. The public and the press are invited to attend and meet Ken Yang. There is no charge to attend the meeting.
