The Saline County Republican Committee hosted candidate speakers on Thursday evening, April 5th at their headquarters in downtown Benton. MySaline was there to get video for the public. See it below.
The crowd heard from two candidates running for State Representative in District 23. Jasen Kelly the CEO of the Saline County Boys and Girls Club drew to speak first. Benton City Councilman Kerry Murphy followed.
Next, the candidates for Justice of the Peace in District 4 spoke, with the incumbent, Barbara Howell going first, then Bobby Cullison who is retired from a law enforcement career.
The evening also included a program from County Clerk Doug Curtis, describing the new voting technology in Saline County. It’s all electronic, which should make it much faster to find registered voters in the roster. It also means that every voter can go to any location to vote. See the table below for the times on the video.
