The Gann Museum of Saline County will open a new exhibit on Thursday, June 13, 2024. “Building History” features seven historic buildings in Benton, Bryant, and Bauxite. The Saline County Courthouse is one of them. The other six buildings serve completely different functions.

The exhibits highlight the history of each building and the many significant events that have made each place so important to our community.
The public is invited to visit the Gann Museum, at 218 South Market Street in downtown Benton. It is situated next door to White Furniture, and across the street from First Baptist Church of Benton.
Take a personal tour, guided by our Special Collections Assistant to learn more. The exhibit will be open for viewing Thursdays – Saturdays from 9 AM – 3 PM during normal Gann Museum hours. The last day to view the exhibit is Saturday, September 21st. While a reservation is not required, the museum recommends that parties of 5 or more call ahead at 501-778-5513. The public can also browse digital collections at www.GannMuseum.com.
