For folks in East End and surrounding areas, there is a familiar friendly face of someone who rides his bicycle all around there and always has a smile and a wave for people. Bicycle Ronnie, as he is known, was riding his bike recently when he was involved in an accident with a vehicle and sustained a broken leg. Ronnie is about 60 years old and has special needs. A brother, his caretaker, died several months ago and the community has been looking after his needs since then. They communicate through a Facebook page about looking after him. Ronnie had to go to the hospital and the word is that his leg is broken, so he will have a tough recovery. The community is calling for financial help for him during this time. There is a link to an online fundraiser below. Thanks for your help.
