The Saline County Office of emergency Management (SCOEM) has issued a statement that many of the roads are flooded. If at all possible do not attempt to to drive. This is not a warning but an actual Flood.
⚠️ Saline County Area Flooded Roads:
As of 6:55am (Jan. 24, 2024) the following are the roads that have been reported as flooded/impassable, according to SCOEM. This is not an exhaustive list. Watch for updates.
1. S. Sardis Rd.
2. Grand Ave./Shaw Bridge Rd.
3. Mt. Olive Rd.
4. Hwy 229
Remember, if you come upon a road that is flooded, TURN AROUND DON’T DROWN!!
PREVIOUSLY JAN 23, 2024:
The Saline County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) stated that there were multiple cars stuck Tuesday night. They also said water rescues happening throughout the county.
SCSO warns everyone not to drive through water that is running over the road. Check back here for updates.
