Dispatchers with the Benton Police Department received 120 complaints regarding fireworks between June 25 and July 5. The usage of fireworks by the public was allowed between 10 a.m. and 10 p.m. between July 3 through July 5 without being in violation of the city’s noise ordinance.

July 4, 2017

- 10:00pm – midnight = 38
Total = 44 calls
July 5, 2017
- Midnight – 09:59am = 2
- 09:59am – 10:00pm = 5
- 10:00pm – midnight = 16
