A Benton woman turned herself into authorities in relation to charges of Negligent Homicide and Driving While Intoxicated. Felicity Johnson, age 22, went to the Benton Police Department Wednesday after learning she had a warrant stemming from a pedestrian vs. vehicle fatality accident.
On January 12, 2020, officers responded to the North Service Road at McCright St. and discovered the victim, Jacob “Jake” Bridges, age 30, also of Benton. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Officers conducted several screenings at the time of the initial investigation, and toxicology results have now confirmed that Johnson was impaired by alcohol and over the legal limit at the time of the accident. She is charged with Negligent Homicide and DWI.
