You have probably figured out that Facebook has been offline since the morning of Monday October 4, 2021. The downtime for Facebook means that they’re other properties, Instagram, Whatsapp, and Oculus have also been down.
Facebook issued a statement via Twitter regarding their status at 11:22 a.m. Central. The company acknowledged that they were offline, but didn’t say why. Just that they are working on it.
There were a couple of theories/rumors about the reason for the outage. One involved a whistleblower interview from the TV magazine show “60 Minutes.” Another said someone deleted server data.
Regardless of the cause, it seems that Facebook is slowly being users back online. You may see posts from your friends but you’re unable to comment.
Since Facebook is the number one way people get to MySaline.com, thanks so much for visiting us anyway!
