Empire Cheer competed at the 2024 All-Star World Championship held from April 18th through the 21st in Orlando, Florida and had a pretty big weekend. Three teams traveled and each came back with notable accomplishments. Though none bigger than SUPREME who came home as World Champions in the U17 Coed Level 4 X-Small Division.
The Final rankings are as follows:
Coach and Empire Kids Vice President Jeri Kay Hammonds had this to say about the amazing experience:
Empire Cheerleading has returned home from The All Star World Competition making history!! For the first time all 3 elite teams made it to finals!! Our Youth level 1 team – Reign were the silver medalist, Youth level 2 team- Empress placed 11th, and the U17 coed team-Supreme finished as Gold Medalists. The All Star World competition takes place in Orlando, Florida in April each year and is a “bid” competition, meaning competing teams must earn a bid throughout the season in order to compete. There are teams from all over America, Mexico, Chile, and Hawaii. Our athletes start their training in May and begin competing in December/January, training until the competition in April. The teams practice twice a week and have a separate tumble class.
Without a doubt, all that hard work and practice has paid off for these three Empire teams! Congratulations to all the athletes, coaches, and families on these amazing victories!
