In Braxton’s nomination he was described as someone who is willing to take on any task, from in-person events to those more behind the scenes duties, he is always a willing participant and also will enlist his friends and family to help as well. Braxton genuinely enjoys helping others and shows up big time to do just that.
Braxton’s volunteer work and attitude are an inspiration to others. He is an amazing role model to his 3 year old sister and regularly includes her in his projects. He also engages his friends and teammates to teach them about foster care and that volunteering can be fun.
Braxton’s peers would describe him as a leader – he enjoys stepping up and getting tasks done and doesn’t quit until the job is done. Braxton also plays competitive baseball and football as well as being an ambassador for Lisowe’s Lights and was awarded a bronze Presidential Volunteer award last year and is on track to earn another award this year.
Congratulations, Braxton, and thank you for making an EMpact in your community!
