Benton Utilities had a crew on scene about 7:30 a.m. where a pole caught fire at 400 Edison Avenue at S. 1st Street. The Benton Fire Department had the fire secured in short order, and the electric outage was about an hour while Benton Utilities worked to repair it. Thanks to Sarah Amber McCraw for the video. She said it was her 7-year-old son (his voice is in the video) who pointed out the fire to her.
