First Electric Cooperative Corporation will host a day to learn about working around electricity in Tuesday, October 19th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Lunch will be served. The location is 8271 Congo Road in Benton.
This training is ideal for first responders, farmers, public works, construction crews, and any occupation that requires work near energized electric lines and equipment in the air as well as on and below the ground.
Topics will include:
- common misconceptions of electricity,
- how workers can best protect themselves from an accident and
- how best to respond in the event of an emergency.
