An educator at Bryant Schools was recognized at the state level for his service.
The Arkansas Association of Elementary School Principals (AAESP) selected Dondre Harris as the recipient of the 2022 Award for Service Above and Beyond.
Bryant Public Schools made a statement via social media, “We are #BryantProud of Mr. Harris. Anyone who knows Mr. Harris understands he is an amazing educator who pours his time and talent into serving students and motivating others to be successful.
Each year AAESP selects a PreK-12th grade Arkansas principal who has made a personal contribution or sacrifice that has resulted in a significant impact on his or her school community. The award is in honor of Dawn Hochsprung, Newtown, Connecticut Elementary principal, who gave her life in service to her school community.
This was a surprise announcement and Mr. Harris’ wife, son, parents, and extended family – as well as his Davis school family – were all part of the celebration.
