A Saline County store is missing close to $5,000 after an incident caught on camera on Sunday.
The Dollar General at 6820 Hwy 35 in the Shaw area, got video of what appeared to be a white female suspect, walking into the store office and taking deposit envelopes with around $4,627.00 in cash, according to store staff.
Around 10:56 p.m. on Sunday, December 12, 2021, the store’s surveillance video shows someone walk into the office and go directly to where the money for deposits are kept. The suspect places the money into a hoodie pocket and leaves. The store staff points out in that you can see the suspect use a sleeve to open the door and leave the office.
The suspect appears to be wearing a very thick black wig to conceal her identity, along with a face mask. Staff reported that the suspect left the store and got into a white car with dark tinted windows with possible stripes on the rear back door.
