On Monday, January 4th, the Democratic Party of Saline County elected officers for the 2021-22 term. Dustin Parsons was re-elected Chair; April Reisma, First Vice Chair; Sha’Nell Beaugard, Second Vice Chair; Amanda Goff, Treasurer; and Tamme Adams, Secretary.
In a release to the press, Adams stated, “The goals of the party are to continue growing in both membership and engagement, expanding community outreach, sustaining a minority engagement platform, and maintaining financial sustainability.” She continued, “The party looks forward to recruiting candidates for the 2022 elections and supporting those candidates both financially and with grass roots campaigning.”
The Democratic Committe meets on the first Monday of the month at 6:30 p.m. The upcoming meeting on February 1st will be both in person, with limited numbers, and through Zoom. For those interested in getting involved, email [email protected].
