The Democratic Party of Saline County is gearing up for an active 2019. The party recently elected officers, including:
- Chairman – Dustin Parsons
- First Vice Chair -Tamme Adams
- Second Vice Chair – Pat Edwards
- Secretary – Ashley Henry-Saorrono
- Treasurer – Amanda Bradley
“We’re hoping to boost our membership in 2019 and ramp up our community engagement efforts moving into the 2020 election year,” stated Parsons. “There are currently no Democrats serving as elected officials in Saline County and we are looking to make our collective voices heard within our communities.”

The next monthly meeting will be held on Tuesday, February 12th at 6:30 p.m. at Pasta J’s in Bryant. The meeting will focus on environmental issues and their implications in Saline County. Glenn Hooks, Director of the Arkansas Sierra Club, will speak about the current environmental topics of the legislative session.
