Saline County suffered lots of wood damage from Friday night’s storm and there are trees down all over the county. The County put out the following announcement about downed powerlines and trees:
Storms that blew through last night hit Saline County hard in several places. Road Crews are working with utility companies to clear roads and help move trees so power can be restored. Please be careful if you have to go near these areas but try to avoid if possible.
Right now we have trees down on:
- PLEASANT RUN AND 10 MILE
- CASH MOUNTAIN AND WAFFORD
- STEELE BRIDGE
- SALEM AVILLA AREA
If you have a tree down and the power lines are involved, remember to stay away, report it as soon as possible and try to be patient, crews are working as quickly as possible.
