The Saline County Circuit Clerk’s and County Clerk’s offices received a Data Quality Award from the Arkansas Administrative Office of the Courts on July 22, 2022 at the annual Arkansas Court Automation Programs (ACAP) Conference.
ACAP provides technical support to the state’s courts, makes court information available to the public, and develops online court-related services. During the closing session of the conference, the Saline County Circuit Clerk’s and County Clerk’s offices received an award for excellence in data quality for clearance completeness.
“I feel so honored to receive this award,” stated Myka Bono Sample, Saline County Circuit Clerk. “This award completely goes to my staff for all the hard work they put in daily for the citizens of Saline County. My staff strives daily to provide excellent service and accurate records because they understand the importance of capturing the correct data of each document received in the office.”
Sample continued, “Record keeping has changed over the years, so having the correct information entered and readily available on the internet with a push of a button is something every staff member takes pride in. Out of 75 counties, only 15 Data Quality Awards were given across the State and I am so proud of my team and I thank them for their hard work and dedication on receiving this award.”
Doug Curtis, the Saline County Clerk, thanked his staff and says they do a wonderful job. “I appreciate the award and that they are getting the recognition they deserve.”
The mission of the Arkansas Administrative Office of the Courts is to support the Arkansas Judiciary and employees of the judicial branch and to assist attorneys and members of the public who rely upon an independent state court system that is efficient, accessible, and fair to all.
Scott Graves, Director of the Office of Research and Justice Statistics, commended the Saline County Circuit Clerk’s and County Clerk’s offices. “Accurate and timely information is key to serving the public, and we appreciate the dedication of the Saline County Circuit Clerk’s and County Clerk’s offices.”
