An era is about to end for a restaurant that has been open since the Summer of 2018 on Highway 67 between Benton and Haskell. Cotija Mexican Restaurant will close at the end of March 2024, according to a post on Facebook.

The restaurant thanked their customers for the nearly 6 years in business at that location. They said there is a new building owner and that owner will be taking over the space. We spoke with Cotija owner Joey Godoy, who said he has plans for a new location nearby in the future.
