Alexander City Council met Monday night, December 16 and approved a resolution that is the next step toward construction of a new Circle K convenience store, along with Natural State Medical Group marijuana dispensary. Both entities will build on the former Griffin-Leggett Funeral Home property at the southwest corner of Highway 5 N and Alexander Road (County Line).
Little Rock Water Reclamation Authority (LRWRA) requested the city to pass a resolution regarding sewage pretreatment enforcement.
While this Circle K is scheduled to break ground in February, there is another Circle K that is done with construction and will open in the next couple of days in Benton at Highway 5 and Kenwood Drive.
