get assistance
To keep everyone safe, clients will follow this procedure:
- Identification is required in order to receive assistance.
- You must be a resident of Saline County.
- When picking up, stay in your vehicle.
- Police and volunteers will direct vehicles and ensure that traffic flows safely.
- Clients will drive through a gate, identify themselves to a volunteer, and then proceed to a designated area, where a volunteer will load food.
- Clients should tell the intake volunteer they need clothing. Clients will be allowed to enter for 15 minutes to select clothing items. Clients accompanied by children may be asked to wait outside briefly because only two children may be inside the clothing area at the same time due to safety precautions.
- Afterward, clients will be directed to an exit. Please drive slowly and carefully follow instructions.
- CJCOHN does not offer assistance with utilities or rent. The CADC has a program to help with utility bills, beginning January 8, 2024, until funding runs out. Get more info at this link.
