CJCOHN is looking for some help after their regular food drive through the Postal Service didn’t come through this year. Food Director Pam Ray reported in their monthly board meeting that they only received 10,000 pounds of food from Stamp Out Hunger Day, where they normally get three times that amount.
If you would like to donate to make up the shortfall, there is a donation link in the Facebook post embedded below. Or you can mail a check to P O Box 1146, Benton, AR, 72015. If you would rather donate items, scroll down to see the list of needs. The street address is 103 E. Elm Street in Benton and you may donate on Tuesdays and Fridays, 8:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Operating hours are 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., but workers arrive earlier to set up for the day. Clients are served between 10:00 and 2:00 only.
