Keith Cox, former Assistant Director of Bryant Parks and Recreation, has been appointed as the new Bryant Parks and Recreation Director.
Cox has served the City of Bryant as the Assistant Director of Parks and Recreation for seven years. He has held the position of Interim Director since former Director, Chris Treat, was elected as Mayor in March 2024.
“Keith has become one of the premier Parks professionals in the region,” said Mayor Chris Treat. “The City of Bryant is fortunate to have him on our team. We have a great plan for the future of our parks and the right person leading the department to help make that plan a reality.”
Cox holds multiple certifications through the National Recreation and Parks Association, a nationally-accredited agency supporting parks and recreation agencies and professionals, and is a graduate of NRPA Directors School. Cox also serves on the Board for the Arkansas Recreation and Parks Association.
“I am deeply honored to be selected to lead the Bryant Parks and Recreation Department into an exciting future,” said Cox. “I look forward to continuing to work with our exceptional staff, city administration, elected officials and community partners to enhance the quality of life for current and future generations of Bryant and Saline County.”
