The City of Benton is looking for bids for a sidewalk project. The plan is to add a path for pedestrians to walk safely from the Interstate 30 Frontage Road, south on Carpenter Street, a section of Highway 5/35. There is a stretch of shoulder there across from Baptist Imaging and First Security Bank that has no place for people.
