The 12th Annual Bryant Christmas Parade has some big changes from the previous years. It will be in a different location, as well as on a weekend morning. Mark your calendar for Saturday, December 7th at 10 a.m. The theme is “Hallmark Christmas.” There will be floats, marching band and other entries. Viewers are welcome to line the roads to watch the parade. Just be careful not to block any driveways or drive-thru windows.
This event is presented by the Greater Bryant Chamber of Commerce and the City of Bryant. It is sponsored by Geyer Springs First Baptist Church, Bryant Family Pharmacy, and Centennial Bank.
The route begins on the north end of Market Place Ave., turn right onto Bryant Ave., and turn right onto Horizon Dr. The drop off area will be in the Goodwill parking lot on Highway 5 North. If you don’t need the drop off area, turn off the route and onto Harvest Dr.
To enter in the parade, you must register before the deadline of December 4 at 4:30 pm. Complete, sign and return the entry form and $10 entry fee to the Greater Bryant Chamber of Commerce, 109 Roya Ln. Bryant, AR 72022. Chamber membership is not required for parade entries.
The parade line-up will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Market Place Ave. Entries will enter the line-up area from Highway 5 North. Entries will present their parade voucher to enter the line-up area. The voucher will be given when registration form is turned in.
Judges will look for the best decorated entry that follows the theme of the parade. Prizes will be $100 for 1st place, $75 for 2nd place, and $50 for 3rd place. See the entry form and rules for further information.
