First Responders in Bryant to Stage Mock Crisis at Elementary School Tuesday

Collegeville Elementary School will be the scene for a mock crisis drill on Tuesday, July 16, 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., according to Devin Sherrill,Director of Communication, Bryant Public Schools. The school is located at 4818 Highway 5 North in Bryant.

Bryant Police Department, Bryant Fire Department, and the Saline County Office of Emergency Services will work with district administrators on response procedures during the staged exercise.

“The safety of students, staff, and parents in our schools is very important to our entire community,” stated Sherrill. “The district works closely with our first responders to develop and practice emergency plan procedures. If you see emergency vehicles on site, please know we are working to keep our schools safer.”
