Come join a community effort to clean up a local cemetery in Haskell. The Harmony Grove Junior High Beta Club is heading up this effort. The cemetery is located on Mount Harmony Lane, off Highway 229.
Neighbors are joining together to clean up Mt Harmony Cemetery, on a Saturday, April 22nd. Beginning at 8 a.m. they will be removing old faded flowers, memorials and debris. The beta Club is asking for help from surviving families and anyone else to assist. Association members will be on hand to advise about proper headstone cleaning.
If you have reserved plots, you are especially needed to attend, so they can make sure they have updated information about your plots. They are preparing to remove reservations if you have not updated your information in the past year.
If you can not physically assist in cleanup, they ask that you consider a donation to aid in purchase of clean up supplies and removal of debris. Any donations and update of information can be sent to Emaline Stroud, Secretary/Treasurer.
